Understanding how to utilize these attributes through equalization (EQ) can profoundly impact your sound, whether you are mixing a live concert, producing a recording, or simply enjoying music on iTunes. The hearEQ app offers a straightforward solution to this by allowing users to learn the distinct characteristics of each frequency band. For instance, reducing 4kHz creates a more background sound. By mastering equalization techniques, you can elevate your sound quality to a professional and delightful level.

hearEQ utilizes your preferred songs on your device to generate customized ear training exercises that both educate you about frequency bands and refine your EQ skills. The app incorporates a standard 10-band or 30-band* equalizer, mirroring those found in iTunes and professional sound mixers. You will listen to your chosen song with a simple equalization applied and attempt to identify it:
